Wilhelm F. Mittrich Director Corporate Development
Wilhelm F. Mittrich is the head of the corporate development and administration department and member of the supervisory board of imcube labs GmbH. Mr. Mittrich has a strong background in international entrepreneurship as well as management and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
Between 1966 and 1977 he founded and managed the book, calendar and advertising newspaper publishing companies Printas Verlagsgesellschaft and Hanse Rundschau in Hamburg, Germany.
From 1978 to 1979 he restructured the “Markthalle”, a public music venue in Hamburg, Germany, from an insolvent company to a fully government subsidized music event theatre. In 1980, he founded Point Classics AG in Switzerland where he developed and traded music copyrights.
Mr. Mittrich purchased the CD manufacturer ICP in Dassow, Germany, in 1997 and renamed it to ODS Optical Disc Services. Under his management, the company expanded from 40 staff in 1997 to the largest CD- and DVD manufacturer in Europe with 2,300 staff between 1998 and 2007.
In 2008, Mr. Mittrich founded and managed EcoDisc Technology AG, an IP management and licensing company for eco-friendly DVD-manufacturing, in Switzerland with affiliates in Shanghai, China, and in London, United Kingdom.
Mr. Mittrich has strong business experience in China since 2001. Most recently he has been responsible for the importation, sales and marketing of the “FIFA Worldcup History 15 DVD Collection” as a joint venture between the FIFA licensor and the leading sports newspaper in China. As the CEO of the Chinese management company Mr. Mittrich has been responsible for all legal and regulatory aspects as well as for the structuring of the business between the partners in Europe and in China.
